Term 2 - Week 4 - Portfolio - Reflection at the Ponsonby Hairdresser - Self Direct

F5.6 1/30 ISO 200

I've taken this photo at the Ponsonby Hairdresser looking in to the mirror. In the mirror I can only see one painting. This photo is far too under exposed because it is very dark so in camera raw I could put the exposure up a little bit.

In camera raw I've put the temperature down to 5200, the tint up to +4, the exposure up to +1.25, the shadows up to +25 and the whites up to +53 so I can see the difference between the before and after.

F5.6 1/13 ISO 200

I've retaken this same photo at the Ponsonby Hairdresser. I can see the plain white wall. This photo is still a bit too dark so the exposure can up up a little more. I see the painting in the mirror very well.

In camera raw I've put the temperature down to 3300, the tint up to +10, the exposure up to +1.45, the contrast up to +18 and the shadows up to +41 so I can see the difference between the before and after.

F5.6 1/15 ISO 200

I've taken this Photo at the Ponsonby Hairdresser of the hairdryer, hairclippers and the hairspray bottle on the bench. In the mirror I can see Flint cutting my mother's hair with just the hair scissors.

In camera raw I've put the temperature down to 3250, the tint up to +6, the exposure up to +1.25, the contrast up to +67, the shadows up to +61 and the whites up to +29 so I can see the difference between the before and after.

I've taken this photo of Flint bending over and cutting my mother's hair with the hair scissors and tidying my mother's hair with the haircomb. I really like the reflection through the mirrors. In one mirror I can see the doors. I can see one yellow cord.

In camera raw I've put the temperature down to 3250, the tint up to +5, the exposure up to +1.50, the contrast up to +22, the shadows up to +36 and the whites up to +43 so I can see the difference between the before and after.

I've taken this photo at the Ponsonby Hairdresser of the reflection through the floor. Through the floor I can see most of the lights that are on.

In camera raw I've put the temperature down to 3250, the tint up to +5, the exposure up to +2.70, the contrast up to +20, the shadows up to +33 and the whites up to +12 so I can see the difference between the before and after.

F4 1/15 ISO 200

I've taken this photo at the Ponsonby Hairdresser of Flint moving his hands because there is movement which can make me feel very happy. Also I can see two hairclips in my mother's hair. Flint is also holding the red comb in his hands.

In camera raw I've put the temperature down to 3200, the tint down to -2, the exposure up to +1.65, the contrast up to +23, the shadows up to +14 and the whites up to +23 so I can see the difference between the before and after.
