Week 6 - Camera Use - Flash Direct Reflected Diffused - Self Directed

Fill in flash

The aperture was F5, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This photo  is using the Canon Speedlite to fill in shadows. If there was no fill in flash, there would be shadows on her face. The sun is behind Emily so she is back lit. 
The aperture was F4.5, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This photo was using the speedlite for fill in flash. It has a big aperture.

The aperture was F5.6, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This photo is using the speedlite for fill in flash. It has a big aperture. It is a shallow depth of field.
The aperture was F11, the shutter speed was 1/15 and the ISO was 100. This photo is using the speedlite for fill in flash. It is a middle aperture. It is a bit over exposed and a bit of lens flare.
The aperture was F22, the shutter speed was 1/15 and the ISO was 100. This photo is using the speedlite for fill in flash. It is a small aperture which is a depth of field. It is a bit dark on her face. The best aperture was F5.6 for the fill in flash using the speedlite.  


Bounce Flash

The aperture was F4.5, the shutter speed was 1/125 and the ISO was 100. This photo is using the canon speedlite. The speed was pointed straight up at the ceiling. The light has been reflected from above when the flash goes up and bounces back down. 
The aperture was F4.5, the shutter speed was 1/125 and the ISO was 100. This photo was using the Speedlite. The flash was pointed behind me. The light is quite even on her face. 
The aperture was F4.5, the shutter speed was 1/125 and the ISO was 100. This photo uses the speedlite. The light is coming from the right because the flash was bouncing off a wall and bounced onto the person. There is shadow on the left side where was not flash reflected.
