Week 6 - Camera Use - Light Direct, Reflected, Diffused - Self Directed

The aperture was F11, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This is a photo of Emily with her back to the sun without the reflector putting light on her face. Her face is a bit dark.

The aperture was F11, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This is the photo of Emily with her back to the sun with the reflector reflecting light up on to her face. Her face is a good exposure because I've used the reflector to add in light.

The aperture was F11, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This is the photo of the teapot using direct light. There are strong shadows coming from the left side. In camera raw I've straightened the photo and increase the contrast to show the shadow a bit more.

The aperture was F11, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This photo of the teapot is using the reflector to soften the shadows. I've used the white reflector. The reflector is filling the shadows with the light coming from the right side.

The aperture was F11, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This photo of the teapot is using the gold reflector to reflect warm light from the right side. I can see gold warm light. In camera raw I've put the exposure down a bit.
The aperture was F11, the shutter speed was 1/100 and the ISO was 100. This photo of the teapot is using the silver reflector. The reflector was on the right side. I liked the silver reflector best.  In camera raw I've put the exposure down a bit because it was too bright on the right side.
The aperture was F8, the shutter speed was 1/8 and the Iso was 100. This photo of Emily is a portrait using diffused light because it was a cloudy day. There are no harsh shadows on her face. The photo looks perfectly exposed. It's also evenly exposed. In camera raw I've cropped out the door in the background so that it is just a plain white background with some texture.
The aperture was F11, the shutter speed was 1/15 and the ISO was 100. This portrait photo of Emily is using the reflector to diffuse the light coming from the window on the right. There is a little bit of shadow on her face.

I edited this photo in camera raw.
This is the photo before I've cropped it on camera raw. I've cropped the photo to take the door out of the background.

In camera raw I've adjusted the exposure down and the contrast up in the basic panel. I've also sharpened the photo in the details panel. I've sharpened the photo because it was very blurry. I could have used a fast shutter speed and a higher ISO so it would not be blurry.
