Week 6 - Camera Use - Flash: Direct, Reflected, Diffused - In Class Exercises









 The classroom blind with a straight on angle. It has lines. The aperture was F22, the shutter speed was 0.8 seconds and the ISO was 100. The background is perfect exposed. I've used the built  flash. I've used the tripod.

 The tree with a high angle. The aperture was F22, the shutter speed was 1/50 and the ISO was 100. The background is under exposed. No flash. No tripod.




I've used the flash to try to under expose the background. The aperture was F5.6, the shutter speed was 1/200 and the ISO was 100. There was less noise.

 Huia with a straight on angle. The aperture was F22, the shutter speed was 1/20 and the ISO was 100. The whole photo is perfect exposed. Built in flash. I've used the tripod.

  1. Can you comment on your use of flash in each of these photos William? Also, the girl in the top photos is Huia, not Maia. I remember you took a few photos of the tree. One without flash which you have posted, and the other using flash to underexpose the background. Could you please post this second photograph?
