Kieran Scott is a New Zealand Photographer. He is a commercial Photographer who mostly takes photos of food. I would see their work online, recipe books and advertising. He makes the food look good. He tries to make the food look perfect because he is working in advertising.

The day Kieran Scott decided to focus on food, in the late 1980s, he arranged some pasta, tomatoes and basil on a table and shot them from overhead. People thought he was mad, but he was just beginning to rewrite the rules of the genre.
His work was soon picked up by premium magazines in Australasia and he started shooting pioneering features of his own design – winemakers dining at home, documentary-style with portraits and action, or a chef cooking on the beach – creating images full of energy and movement.
Sought-after by major international magazines, he loves to shoot people engaged in reality and never tires of shooting food. He would be really happy if he could get to all his jobs on his Vespa.

I see lots of different types of food which are onions, chicken, tomatoes, parsley, avocados and salt.
He used contrast which is between the light and dark. His plate is a circular shape. I see these connected photos by him and the food connects the two. He always does deep depth of field. These photos have been taken from a high angle. One photo is more focused on the chicken and the salt while the other photo is focusing on the onion, parsley, chicken, tomatoes.

I see sheep, grass, sky and four dogs, and land.
He uses repetition and leading lines on the sheep. The contrast is between the light and dark. This photo has been taken with a shallow depth of field which means that the foreground is sharp and the background is blurry.

I want to experiment with very high angles and taking photos of food. I could try looking down from the ceiling. I think it would be easy so I'll try. I want to experiment with photographing a process from start to end.

I've really liked his photo of the steak because it also looked yummy and editable. He has showed us some of his work and he shoots in the moment. He has taken the photo of the fish with a high angle. I see that his photos are all sorts of different colours. He travels to lots of different and exciting places to take photos for clients. The photo below he is in the water taking a photo of the boat and divers. He takes a photo of the crabs before and after they have been cooked and presented. He has placed the photo side by side. They present the crabs in shells.
One kiwi fruit fruit is in focus, the other one is semi focus and the third one closest to the right is out of focus. This photo has been taken with a shallow depth of field.
I see one rack of ribs and two onions and some herbs and also one jar of red wine. The background is black and my eyes go straight to the photo. I really like the composition.
