Nigel Swinn has taken this photo of the reflection through the window. In the window I see trees.  The photo is quite abstract and there is movement because the photo is moving. I see leading lines, repetition, shape and cropping.

The photographer is standing on the left. I see leading lines, repetition, shape, rule of thirds. This photo has been taken in black and white.

I see contrast between light and dark.

He likes abstract,  documentary, still life, portrait and landscape photography.

He was from Wellington, New Zealand. He has lived in London and Australia. He also worked as a graphic designer. Now he lives in New Zealand. 

Ironic then, that on returning to New Zealand I was unsure about my own identity and set about taking stock of New Zealand, and New Zealanders;  where and how we live, what drives us, and what (if anything) marks us out. (http://www.nigelswinn.com/about/)

Nigel Swinn has different work to my work. He takes photos of lots of different things. I'm taking photos of a few things. He could influence my work by making me take photos of lots of different things. I could by influenced by ideas of identity of a place because Nigel Swinn takes photos about the identity of New Zealand.
